USAID Rwanda and the CDC country office were briefed on ETP-2 project goals, objectives and priorities in March of 2015. A kick-off meeting between the Rwanda One Health Steering Committee and the P&R project cumulated to a six month P&R work plan. The work plan has been presented to the Social Cluster of Ministers for endorsement and will be presented to the cabinet. P&R agreed to support two positions: the NOHTA and administrative assistant, as well as basic office and IT equipment for the two positions. As part of the implementation of the six month P&R country work plan, P&R started providing support for the development of the One Health Advocacy and communication plan, and for the launch of the national OH strategic plan.
